I believe the only way to make the world better is to grow beyond who I was before. It’s about personal growth and not competing with others or taking away their space.
I live in a time where overwork, like the 996 culture, is common. Everyone is competing, but I don’t want to hurt others to get ahead. I hope everyone can develop and grow in their own way.
The problem with 996 is that it harms me and others. It leaves me with no time to rest, creates a lot of stress, and limits my personal growth. I feel like I have to compete with my colleagues, which makes the workplace toxic. It also takes away my time with family and damages my health.
When I can’t spend time or money on things I enjoy, others suffer too. Markets, cinemas, hotels, and waiters depend on people like me. But because I work so much, I don’t have time to support their businesses. This system benefits the wealthy. They pressure ordinary people into working overtime and can easily lay off workers to increase their profits.
The more we follow these rules, the more rigid they become. Overwork strengthens the power of those at the top and makes it harder for others to find meaningful jobs. I worry that this will not only hurt us now but also harm future generations. I don’t want my children to grow up in a world where their value is based on how many hours they work.
My dream has always been to help the world progress. To do that, I must grow beyond who I was before. I want to be true to my values and not just accept the rules others impose. I want to live in a way that reflects my true self and helps build a world where progress is about personal growth, not endless work hours.
By pursuing personal growth, I hope to inspire others to do the same. I believe that when we focus on our own development, we can create a positive ripple effect. This way, we can contribute to a better future for ourselves and those around us. We need to support each other in this journey and strive for a world where everyone can thrive.
